I majored in Computer Science in college. Despite being inherently creative, I gravitated towards a degree that encouraged job security. Fast forward 2 years into my degree, the Grace Hopper Celebration. It was the first time I met people who centered creativity in their tech careers. Since then, I’ve been diving into the world of product and design — simply focused on finding ways to bring together the creative and technical parts of myself. I still code, I still build, I still draw… but now I design. I’m working toward a career that fully feels like me, and I’m just getting started.
